Our children need God’s protection like a shield around them.

Surrounding our children with others who are also raising their shields of faith can give added protection.

As loving parents and caring adults in a child’s life, we should help them build healthy relationships with mentors and faithful friends.

But you, O Lord, are a shield about me,

my glory, and the lifter of my head.

PSALM 3:3

Dear Lord,

You have told us that you are our shield. You surround us and keep us safe from our enemies. Be a shield for ___________________ and ___________________. Protect them against the dangers of life.
